VACATION!!!

Less than two weeks until our vacation to Utah. We are so excited!

Sometimes I see a picture of Ayva and can't believe how big she is. It's amazing how fast time goes by.

Sorry I haven't kept up very well with the posting. So here are some recent pictures of Ayva, of course. She is now feeding herself and loves her new chair although Ella, the girl I babysit, and Ayva like to fight over it.



Ayva has started feeding herself. Needless to say feeding time is a little
more messy and longer. She likes to play with the food.

One day Ayva went to play in her room while I was feeding Ella, the girl I babysit. I wasn't hearing anything from Ayva so I went and checked on her and she was sitting backward in her walker. I thought it was funny so I captured her in action to share it with you.

4th of July!!!!!!

Unfortunately Josh had to work on Wednesday so Ayva and I went down to visit Grandma and Grandpa Payzant and Aunt Brittany. We did some fireworks and Ayva was not very happy with them. Although, everytime she would hear the booms she would start clapping but then would cry. We did some sparklers when daddy came home and someone was a little cranky. Ayva is not really a fan of fireworks!

Summertime Fun!!

We got Ayva a pool on Saturday and I was excited. I think I was the only one excited about it. Ayva and I were outside getting it all ready yesterday afternoon. It's been pretty hot and humid out here so I got eaten alive but that's besides the point. While I was blowing up the pool Ayva was playing around on it and watching me. She loves to imitate so she came over to me, grabbed the nozel and started blowing into it. She loved doing it so much that she wouldn't let me have it. We finally finished the pool and now it was playtime! I put her in the pool and she just stood there. She wouldn't move and was a little scared. She played for a little bit but then she fell on her bottom and she did not like that at all.

This picture makes us laugh. It's one of the cutest and funniest pictures of her. It was taken in London in our apartment and she was about 1 month old. She was sitting with her daddy on the couch and sat up posing for the camera. I just thought I'd share this picture with you because it's one of my favorites! Look at those cheeks!

We have joined the blog world. My sister Stephanie has been trying to start us up on blogging and she's done a very good job. Thanks Steph. I have started this blog for probably the same reason most people do it, to keep friends and family updated on what we are doing. So I hope you all enjoy our blog!
