More meat anyone...

Josh had another hunt here in Colorado. He went out all by himself and got this bad boy...
He was huge!!! About 300lbs.
I have to say I've been pleasantly surprise at how much I like the meat. The hamburger meat-not a fan!!! But the rest has been really good.
He got stopped by one of the Conservation Officers and she said it was the biggest one she's seen in the area of his hunt. He shot once and the guy just fell to the ground. Some other hunter offered to help Josh get it off the mountain, what nice hunters!

Cheyenne's Birthday Celebration Week!!!

We started Cheyenne's Birthday Celebration with a night at Chuck E Cheese, their favorite place!
We had a great time and the girls loved it!
They love the horse!

They even ate buffalo wings! I was in shock!

They wanted to do everything!
Back on the horse!!!
We even got our portraits sketched by Chuck E Cheese.

I think adults love the go to Chuck E Cheese too! Josh played this many times!
Cheyenne was ball girl for daddy!
And we're back on the horse!!! One last time!
As we were walking out the door to the car Ayva looked back and said, "Chuck E Cheese is a beautiful place!" It was one of my favorite places to go as a child, although it's really changed since I was a kid!
They had a ball playing with packaging peanuts, yes I had to clean that stuff up on more than one occasion!
Cheyenne loves daddy's chair!

Thank you Aunt Janelle for the very cute scarf and hat, they both love it. Cheyenne loves the red balls!
Doesn't look exactly like the one on the box but I did what I can. Cheyenne liked it, I guess that's all that matters!
The Birthday Princess!

When opening each gift, her reaction was "WOW!"

Ayva loved all the new toys too but feeling a little jealous! I feel so bad about that, but it was Cheyenne's day!

They liked the cake but I think they liked all the candy on it more!

Thank you to all for the wonderful gifts!!!
I still can't believe my baby is 2!

Cheyenne's Year

Do I even need to warn you that this is an extremely long post?!

What a year it's been!
You've grown sooooo much and you've been a light in our life.
You are always on a mission, whatever you are doing. You are always doing what you want and if people get in your way, you let them know. You have the cutest and funniest faces and you know how to please a crowd, you know exactly what to do. You're always trying to make us laugh and it works, most of the time. You love your sister, follow her around and follow her every move. You are always giving hugs and willing to give anyone a kiss. Just thinking of the sweetest things you do melt my heart.

Cheyenne loves animals, books, going to the gym, slides, climbing, being outside, treats, beebee (her blankie that Aunt Leisel made her), being with her sister, apple juice, mac & cheese, cucumbers and white sauce (ranch dressing), discovering new things, etc. You love to do most things.

Her current words: Mama, I'n done, Hi, pease (please), yes, no no no, dog, duck, mama, dada, amma (grandma), daddy, mommy, bye bye.
There may be a few more. For the most part she just grunts at us assuming we know what she's talking about. She surprises me at how much she understands, she knows more than we give her credit for.

You are the sweetest, even when you act up. I can't imagine my life without you. You are a very precious gift to me, to our family!
We love you Beese!!!

Her past year in pictures, I know I know too many! My husband thinks I go overboard. Sorry, can't help it, she's just too adorable!!!

I CAN'T BELIEVE HOW MUCH SHE'S GROWN!!!
This was her first birthday.
A year later exactly!!!

More pictures to come from our celebrating this week!

Happy Late Halloween!!!

I know, delayed post!
So, I got the elephant costume out from last year to try it on Cheyenne. Ayva saw it and my plans had to change! She wanted to be the elephant again! So I couldn't figure out what to do for Cheyenne, I battled between a Candy Corn or an M&M. While we were in Utah Grandma suggested a peanut, so that's what I did. Thanks Grandma, great idea!
We were suppose to have our ward party on Wednesday but with the blizzard we had it got canceled so we had a trunk-or-treat on Friday! They loved it! Of course they loved getting the candy!
Halloween night they went trick-or-treating and loved it at first then Cheyenne started getting tired of walking so I had to carry her. Then Ayva's pumpkin started getting too heavy so I had to carry that too. My arms were jello by the time we got home!

Cheyenne hates getting into the costume but once she's in, she's ok with having it on!

That was their load from the trunk-or-treat. It doubled or more after Halloween night.
Ayva organized her candy, well she started to.

They had a great time! Hope you all enjoyed your Halloween!
Like my sister, I'm so excited for the up coming holidays, I just love this time of year!!!!

Trip to Utah

Random pictures of our trip, I need to do better with taking candids on trips. What's my problem?!
Here's Ayva dragging her sister everywhere.

Playing in the leaves with kitty.
Sorry about the fuzziness of this one, I just thought it was a cute picture.
She loves anything with sugar. Notice her pinkie finger.
I thought Ayva was born in London. Tea anyone?
This is Ayva looking at daddy's first deer. I can't believe she wasn't upset. Apparently the head was on the other side of the truck, away from his skinned body. But she was excited about seeing him.
She even pet him.
(Please excuse the lovely shot of Ayva.)
At the end of the trip, we all pilled in grandpa's truck to hunt for his deer. The girls were so excited to go.
They're all dressed up in their orange and ready to go. Ayva even had her noculars (binoculars, just in case you didn't get it.)

Cheyenne wanted to drive grandpa's truck. The girls weren't very lucky for grandpa, he didn't get his deer but he did get an elk one day out with Josh.
Thanks for having us, sorry we got sick!
