Back Tracking A Bit!!!

This is the day we moved into our new apartment. Ayva loved running around and she found her bedroom.

And Cheyenne was just excited to be out of her car seat.

Ayva found a book in her new room and thought she would read it to Cheyenne.

Ayva was going through her little stink bug phase.

Walking everywhere in the apartment like this.

And she was having a blast!

Ayva loves her little sister although she gets a little jealous of her from time to time.

Cheyenne has turned into a real smiley baby.

Cheyenne's new bed.

Ayva was trying to find Cheyenne and she was also curious about the bed, always looking in it.

So I've been trying to get myself in shape so Josh got all his equipment out for me and Ayva decided she wanted to do it to.
Actually she just decided to use it as a chair to watch TV.

How did it end up there?

If anyone has an idea of how it ended up at this place, please let me know!

I would like to start off by telling you all how awesome my husband is and how great he is at negotiations, he got a great deal at Bally's Gym. So he went there the other day and of course had his work cell phone with him. He went to the locker room and then left. As he was walking out to the car he realized he didn't have his phone. Of course he went back in to check around and ask the front desk but nothing. He came home feeling beat. He told me what happened and that at one moment he left his locker alone unlocked and figured that's when it happened. He was going to have to talk to his boss and tell him that his phone was stolen after only having it for a week. He was also feeling humiliated, which I'm sure anyone would in this situation. I know I would.

He was about to call his boss when he decided he would try calling his phone to see if he would have any luck. Sure enough someone answered the phone. They spoke Spanish and no English whatsoever. He kept trying to get them to hand the phone to someone who spoke English. After several attempts he finally got someone on that spoke a little English. She told him that it was at a hair salon and told him the location. We looked it up to see how to get there and it was several miles from the gym's location. The gym is right by where he works and it's a pretty nice area. As we were traveling to the location it started looking a little fierce. Bars on the windows, sketchy people hanging out on the corners and overall just a run down area. We started coming up with some strategy's thinking something could happen to us, that this could be a set up. Ha Ha funny huh!? Josh said," If I don't come out in fifteen minutes call my phone and if I don't answer call the cops." " Oh and lock the doors!" He was also going to park down the street so the girls and I wouldn't be in sight of the place. We were a little paranoid don't you think?! But seriously, it was just a little weird. I mean he gets his phone stolen and then he calls it and someone answers. If you stole a phone would you answer it? And if you found a phone somewhere would you take it with you or just leave it or take it to the front desk? And then how did it end up in the bad part of town at a hair salon. Oh, another thing, it kind of took us a while to get there because it was up by his work which takes 20 minutes and then from there it took us about another 15 minutes to find the place. The weird thing about that was the guy who had it was just sitting there and when Josh walked in he gave him the phone and Josh walked out. Then the guy walked out and left. So we were thinking that he waited there until we got there. Super nice but weird. Everything about it was just weird.

Well we got the phone back and nothing happened to us. We made it out alive! HaHaHa

Any thoughts???

Yesterday was a sad day...

Romney dropped out of the race! I guess we all knew that it would never happen. There are so many people that don't want a mormon in the White House that they'll do just about anything to keep it from happening. But in my opinion he is the only one that could do the job and I'm really not just saying that because he is mormon. McCain and Huckbee are snakes and played dirty tricks. They are so power hungary that they'll drop to Clinton's level and even worse. How can you get any worse than the Clinton's though, that seems impossible. McCain is a Democrat in disguise, so it's going to be a liberal Democrat VS liberal Democrat. So how do you vote if your a Conservative Republican?

The future of our country looks pretty bleak!!!

Ayva's bangs

I noticed this as I was looking at the pictures just now. I cut Ayva's bangs the other day because they were getting in her face. Don't you just love how short they are? You know it's pretty hard cutting an almost 2 year old's hair, especially their bangs.

So that's the reason for her poor hair. Mommy's fault!

Cheyenne's Blessing!!!

Cheyenne was finally blessed on Saturday.

Cheyenne and Daddy. She's getting so good at holding her head up.

Ayva loves to tackle and sit on people. Poor Cheyenne!

HELLO!!!

When we lived in the Kansas City house occasionally when I would run an errand this is what I would see backing out of the drive way and coming home. She was in her room taking a nap and either she was waking up or still playing before she went to sleep. The first time I saw this, it was so funny and cute. From the road you see this house and then this little read head in the window. So cute!!

Moving to Denver!!!

Packing and moving day!

So GE provided us with movers and that was so awesome! It's the only way to move. They came in and packed up all our belongings and they did so good, they wrapped everything with packing paper and a lot of it. They packed up everything in about 1 1/2 hours.

This is Ayva's room all packed up. She even found her bed just by the size and look of the box, I guess. I asked her where her bed is and she walked over to this box and said "bed." So that day they packed us up and then the next day the other crew came in to load the truck so because all our stuff was packed up Grandma and Grandpa Payzant let us stay the night at their house.

Can anyone find the baby?

So we stayed at grandma and grandpa's house and the day that they were loading our stuff in the truck grandma watched the girls. I think she enjoyed it. So we got back up to the house and the truck guy got there and said he couldn't get the truck up to our house. We lived in a neighborhood that was narrow and sharp turns and a big huge 18 wheeler couldn't make it threw the neighborhood so, he called the company and they got a smaller truck and shuttled our stuff to the 18 wheeler. We thought we were going to be there all day but they had it all done in a couple hours. Crazy! Both crews were so good with all our stuff and we had to be there for liability reasons. The cool thing was, we just sat there and watched them. We weren't suppose to pack anything so that was great. Like I said it's the only way to move, although I hear it's very expensive to pay for it yourself. So if a company will move you like that, it's great.

BABY MOSES PARTING THE RED SEA

Cheyenne fell asleep like this and it just looked so funny. Her little fingers are sticking through the blanket. This was actually back in Kansas City around Christmas time. I'm back tracking a bit.
