Memory Tag

Thought I'd join in on the fun with this tag. In advance for anyone who leaves a comment, thanks. I'll enjoy reading them.

1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember!

2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty funny to see the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you're playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you.

I remember when I was trying out for drill team for California Trail the East drill team had put the dance together and we (Stephanie, Michelle, and Jenny)were dancing in your parents living room. I was so uncoordinated and really had no idea what I was doing but you were really nice in trying to help me. I didn't end up making the team but I really didn't think I had much of a chance!

The first memory I really have of you is when I was on one of my first dates (maybe THE first?) with Brandon and we went over to your apartment when you had made cinnamon twists. They were delicious, but I was SOOO intimidated to be going over to your apartment. But thankfully, you turned out to a wonderful friend and sister! I also remember how you spoiled me so much with my first baby! I LOVED it! Thank you again! We can't wait to see you again.

So it's pretty hard to just leave one...but I'll try to stick to that. I remember when I got my appendix out you came up to the hospital to visit me and you were so sweet to bring my blankie! You even took me on a walk around the halls. I believe you were suppose to be at work too. And then of course when we lived together in Provo...you left to go home for the holidays and I stayed behind for a few days to take finals...I missed you so much! I cried because I was having Lacey withdrawals!! Sad. Who could forget the time you were taking a gift to that guy in Provo...and you fell on you butt!! hahaha. That was funny. Or remember how you burned your face really bad your senior year over spring break and I kept calling you and Ewok. You didn't think that was too funny. Aww...I could go on forever!

I remember the first time we met. I was nine months pregnant and miserable, my apartment was a disasterous dungeon, and you met all of us without Josh. You were (and are) so friendly, nice and sweet...we all loved you right off the bat! You're tons of fun. My favorite most recent memory of you is when we couldn't stop laughing at Grandma's dirt shower...thanks to Ayva! Good times!

Hey Lacey, I am sure that we could leave the same comment on each other's blog because I have only officially "met" you once...Ha! I did have a good time talking with you at the Bates house last Christmas and I feel as though I know you a bit more now thru the blogging we do! I am so glad Josh found such a sweet person to settle down with (said with a country girl drawl)!

Ahhh, the good old days. We've shared lots of memories, but I'd have to say one that always brings a smile to my face is early morning seminary. How lucky (for our parents especially) that we lived just 2 streets away which meant we would forever drag each other's butts out of bed for seminary. We were always late, always asleep, and never listening. But hey, we went! I'll never forget you walking in half the mornings with those drill team pants on down over your feet, did you have shoes on??? HAHA!

Lacey said...

No, never had any shoes on. I can't believe you remember that. I'm actually wearing those pants as I write this but I had to cut the bottoms off so now they are right below the knee.

Blue pants, right?! Can't remember what was written across the butt, probably something like EAST? Ha, did you have to cut off the bottoms b/c you wore holes through them? Hehe. :) Glad to know I'm not the only one with clothes back from HS. I finally had to throw away a few t-shirts I got back in my East days. Eric's very happy about that :).

When I had just gotten back from college and started to go to the singles ward-you were always so nice to me...Even though we never went to the same school. Oh and you drove that cool little white sports car. Totally wanted one!

My first memory was when you were a little girl and you, Brandon, and Mike stayed at our apartment for the weekend. What a cutie you were!!! Blond curly hair, big smile, and you could hold your own with your brothers. You have always been a tough chick!!! I love every visit we have together even though they are now few and far between. Your giggle cracks me up every time I hear it. And of course, I am your biggest photography fan on the planet. Love ya Lacey.

So many stories... well, I think you know one of our most favorite stories (fencE), but really I have a lot of fun memories when we lived in Provo together. That was awesome! I had a blast with you then and hope we can have many, many more fun memories together. Your little girls are too cute for words!

I have funny memories of you Lacey....but some of my favorite are of you doing our nails and us keeping the doors and windows closed. Why? Don't know! All we had to do was to open them and get a little air flowing! Miss you tons, Racy Lacey!

I'm completely with Jenn! Thanks to you we rocked RC with extra long nails! You were so cool and I'm so happy to see life treating your family so well!

I have been meaning to ask you where you get your film developed? How do you find places other than Wally world (Wal-mart) to develop film?

Kimberly Robinson said...

Hey again, girl! Okay, my vintage wash - I used Leah Profancik's "soft bella vintage" action on it. Leah is amaaaaaaaazing. I got a bundle of her stuff. I've got all kinds of actions that I've purchased over the year. I do all my own post-processing on PS CS2 but sometimes a photo just screams for something more artsy & I use one of these actions. If you have more questions about actions or want to know where to get some good ones email me anytime! It's fun to discover all this amazingly creative stuff. My email's kimberlyfrobinson@yahoo.com (it's also on my blog so I'm okay posting it). Have fun! And let me know if you have any other Qs.

Okay your stories here are hilarious! What a kick!
